SEVERAL roads were blocked off in Swansea after what police are calling a "serious assault".
Officers were called to The Kingsway at 3.24am on Sunday morning.
Areas around the scene, including Orchard Street, High Street and Welcome Lane, were cordoned off with police tape while officers investigated the incident.
By 8.45am the roads had reopened but The Strand remained closed.
