ARMED police swooped on a quiet street after a resident made a drunken hoax call to police claiming there was a gunman in the area.
Jason Colin John had drunk two bottles of vodka before making the false 999 call — and later said he could not remember ringing police.
His call led to an armed response team begin sent to Croeserw — and his subsequent arrest after he was traced by his mobile phone signal.
