POLICE in Neath have issued a warning to residents after a spate of four burglaries and attempted burglaries in two days.
Officers said there had been a break-in at a house in Crynant, two attempted burglaries in Cadoxton, and a burglary of a garage in Briton Ferry all between January 3 and 4.

Trial date set for man accused of pharmacy stabbing
A DATE has been set for the trial of a Carmarthenshire man accused of wounding a pharmacist with a knife.
Peter Bellett, of Wern Road, Garnant, is alleged to have caused grievous bodily harm to Michael Irons in an incident at Garnant Pharmacy on December 5 last year.
No charge was put to the 68-year-old during a brief videolink hearing at Swansea Crown Court today, and no plea was entered.
A trial date was set for March 28.
